Buy Mars Shinshu Komagatake Single Malt Japanese Whisky Limited Edition online
Mars Shinshu Komagatake Single Malt Japanese Whisky Limited Edition This limited edition single malt is Mars Shinshu’s first step in creating a house style for their extremely succesful Komagatake line. We will see variations of this limited single malt release first in 2019, then 2020, as they progress toward an official, house-style Komagatake Single Malt in 2021. While still young at 3-6 years aged, this whisky consists of barrels aged on the top shelf of their rack house where the maturation happens quickest due to the warmer temperature. The casks are majority ex-bourbon followed by new American oak and sherry cask. The malt is lightly peated at 3.5 PPM. Clean and refreshing with notes of sweet orange marmalade, apricot, gentle vanilla, melon and soft oak. It’s a gentle and smooth drinking experience that keeps you coming back for more. As a limited edition release, quantities are highly limited, so get your hands on this whisky while you can.
