Orphan Barrel Old Blowhard 26 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon Old Blowhard 26 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey was sourced from the fabled Stitzel-Weller Distillery, situated in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition, the bourbon was crafted from a mashbill of 86% corn, 8% barley and 6% rye and matured in new, American oak casks.
Orphan Barrel Old Blowhard 26 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Aroma of charcoal, honeyed oak and vanilla beans.
Palate: Notes caramel, marzipan, buttered toast and candied oranges on the palate.
Finish: Finish is oaky yet slightly sweet, with a touch of citrus and chocolate at the finale.
Distillery Information
A homage to the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery, Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses a unique Solera System aging process to preserve some of the distillery’s oldest whiskey stocks, including some of the last bourbon produced there before it closed in 1992.
